Internationally acclaimed pianist and composer Bogdan Ota will return to the Kroc Center on March 7 to present his latest concert, "Chronos — The Master of Time," based on his fourth album of original music.

Recognized for his distinctive artistic vision, Ota has built an international reputation as both a performer and composer. His work and career have been featured in publications including VIP Magazine, FOX News and Luxury Las Vegas Magazine, reflecting his growing presence on the international music scene.

His musical style blends virtuosic piano performance with hybrid symphonic orchestration, modern production techniques and immersive sound design. The result is a cinematic concert experience that combines the emotional depth of symphonic music with the atmosphere and intensity of contemporary sound.

In a news release, Ota said "Chronos" is not just an album.

"It’s a confrontation with time," he said.

Ota's original compositions move beyond traditional genre boundaries, creating music that is powerful and deeply expressive. Having previously performed in Coeur d’Alene to enthusiastic audiences, Ota's return to the Kroc Center offers the community an opportunity to experience his newest compositions, many inspired by the beauty of North Idaho.

Ota and his family lived in Post Falls from 2018-2022. This will be his fourth performance in Coeur d'Alene since 2020.

He said when he began writing some of these pieces years ago in Coeur d'Alene, he didn’t know where life would take him.

"I only knew that the silence of Idaho — the forests, the vast skies, the stillness of the lake — was shaping something inside me," he said. Some of the themes were born there, in moments of reflection. But they weren’t finished … because I wasn’t finished.

"Years later, those sketches found their final form. What started as fragments became a complete musical journey — an exploration of time, identity, faith, love, struggle and transformation. That journey became 'Chronos — The Master of Time.'"

He said "Chronos" is about "the tension between who we were … and who we are becoming."

"It’s about the invisible pressure of time," Ota said, "and the freedom we find when we stop running from it.”

He said returning to Coeur d’Alene is deeply personal.

“This place holds the emotional blueprint of many of these pieces," Ota said. "Coming back here feels like closing a circle — not in an ending sense, but in fulfillment.”

To perform "Chronos" in Coeur d'Alene is not just another concert. It is a return to the origin of the echo, Ota said.

“And when I step on that stage, I’m not just performing music," he said. "I’m standing inside a story that began here.”

Admission is $41 for VIP, $36 for patrons and $30 for seniors, military and children.
