Martin is a married father of eight and enjoys spending time with his children and his wife, Christina. The barracks-like buildings in the background were for workmen building Larson Air Force Base in 1942. The large building in the foreground, Western Cold Storage, was built in 1922 by Seattle Mayor Edwin Brown as an apple-packing plant.
