ALL-LEAGUE GIRLS BASKETBALL: Mire, Tomco tabbed with IEL honors

ALL-LEAGUE: Brecken Mire

A 5-foot-10-inch junior guard, Brecken started and played in all 27 games this year for the Lady Bulldogs and averaged 16.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.9 steals and 0.8 blocks per game... had a tied for season-high 30 points against Lakeland on Feb. 10 and against Moscow on Feb. 12... a season-high 11 rebounds against Timberlake on Dec. 9... a season-high nine assists against University on Dec. 5... a tied for season-high six steals against Lakeland on Feb. 10 and against Lake City on Dec. 27... and a tied for season-high two blocks in seven different contests... shot 40% (147-for-363) from the floor and 70% from the free throw line (117-for-166)... made 37 3-pointers, including a season-high four against Moscow on Jan. 8... had 20-or-more points in nine different contests... dished out five-or-more assists in seven different contests... had four-or-more steals in 12 different contests... receiving all-league honors for the third consecutive season... named to Idahosports.com 5A All-Tournament First Team for play at state tournament... surpassed 1,000 points in a game against Moscow on Feb. 12... now has 1,098 points, 332 rebounds, 299 assists, 167 steals and 51 blocks on career.

ALL-LEAGUE: Jordyn Tomco

A 5-foot-10-inch junior guard and forward, Jordyn started and played in all 27 games this year for the Lady Bulldogs and averaged 15.0 points per game, 4.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 2.6 steals and 0.2 blocks per game... had a season-high 32 points against Blackfoot on Feb. 20... a tied for season-high seven rebounds in four different contests... a season-high four assists against University on Dec. 5... a tied for season-high five steals against Mt. Spokane on Jan. 3 and against West Valley on Dec. 16... and a season-high two blocks against Pocatello on Feb. 21... shot 38% (143-for-377) from the floor, 60% (58-for-97) from the free throw line and shot 33% (61-for-187) from behind the 3-point line... made a season-high six 3-pointers against Lewiston on Jan. 23... had 20-or-more points in five different contests... had four-or-more steals in seven different contests... receiving all-league honors for the third consecutive season... named to Idahosports.com 5A All-Tournament Second Team for play at state tournament... now has 964 points, 277 rebounds, 87 assists, 128 steals and 19 blocks on career.
