School district invites community to meet superintendent candidates

The Whitefish School District Board of Trustees announced three finalists for its superintendent position and invites parents and community members to meet the candidates March 4 and 5 and provide feedback.
The finalists were selected following a national search conducted with McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C., and will interview to replace Superintendent Dave Means, who will retire at the end of the current school year.
The meet-and-greet sessions will be at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center. Meet Brandy Carlenzoli Wednesday, March 4 from 5–5:25 p.m. and Jennifer Fee from 5:30–5:55 p.m. On Thursday, March 5, from 4:45–5:10 p.m., meet Michele Paine.
Carlenzoli, from Kalispell, was previously superintendent of Fair-Mont-Egan School. Paine, also from Kalispell, has been the principal of Flathead High School since the fall of 2017. Fee is from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is the assistant superintendent of instructional services at Kent Independent School District.
There will be an opportunity for in-person public comment during a special board meeting on March 5 at 7:15 p.m.
