Glacier National Park’s visitation has topped 3 million again this year, with 3.086 million people estimated to have visited Glacier through October.
Through October, visitation is off slightly compared to last season by just 2.5%.
The data was delayed due to the government shutdown, which went through October and into the first two weeks of November.
All told, visitation in October was down 22.7% as snows closed the alpine section of the Going-to-the-Sun Road.
The government shutdown also had tourists thinking the park was closed to visitors when it was actually open.
October saw 127,537 visits, while September was 552,479.
Last year, the total was 3.2 million for the year.
The busiest year ever was 2017, when 3.305 million people visited.
