As the college football transfer portal opened on Friday, Montana was dealt a blow as multiple players entered their names.
Among the names leaving are freshman All-American offensive lineman Colin Amick and the Griz’s two leading tacklers in Caleb Otlewski and Diezel Wilkinson. Kyon Loud made it three defensive starters in the portal.
On offense, running back Malae Fonoti entered the portal.
Corners Justus Breston and Rashid Monsour announced their plans to enter the portal earlier this week.
Montana will have fourth offensive line coach in as many years as Cameron Norcross accepted a position with Nevada.
Good news for Griz fans, quarterback Keali’i Ah Yat announced his return to the team earlier in the week and wide receiver Brooks Davis posted that he is returning for his sophomore campaign Friday.
