Allen, Warriner lift Glacier girls past Belgrade

The duo of Karley Allen and Olivia Warriner combined for 41 points, lifting the Glacier girls past Belgrade 61-47 for its first win of the season on Saturday in AA girls basketball at the Wolf Den.


Allen finished with 21 points, sinking three 3-pointers. Warriner scored 15 of her 20 points in the first half for Glacier (1-4). 


Arleigh Hone led Belgrade (0-5) with 13 points. Rylee Feight added 12 and Brooklyn Blossom scored seven. 


Glacier entered halftime with a 29-23 lead. Entering the fourth quarter, the Wolfpack led 43-37.  


Allen scored eight points in the final period, and the Wolfpack held the Panthers to a game-low 10 points to secure the first win of the season for the Glacier girls.  


Play resumes for the Wolfpack on Jan. 8 against Hellgate at the Wolf Den at 7 p.m.
