Whitefish Police stopped a vehicle, warning the driver about its registration. The registered owner of the vehicle, reportedly rented through a car sharing marketplace company called Turo, was listed as deceased in Washington.

An argument between a couple allegedly escalated when a woman threw a computer, hitting her husband in the side, then took off in a Ram truck. He reportedly declined medical attention and didn’t want officers to respond, saying he no longer wanted to press charges.

A neighbor requested a welfare check for an elderly woman who owned “dogs that bark” because she noticed an upstairs window had been open for several days and only one set of lights was on when they checked that the door was locked, which was unusual. Officers made contact with a son who said his parents had been out of town and were headed back.

Drills, batteries, lasers, nailers and a cordless rotary hammer were reported stolen. All the tools except the rotary hammer were marked with red paint on one side and black paint on the other.

A resident complained to police about multiple trucks and trailers blocking the road. When an officer arrived at the scene, all but one car with Alberta, Canada, license plates had moved.

An officer stopped a vehicle to issue a warning for a stop sign violation and smelled alcohol, which the driver allegedly admitted to consuming.

Someone called the police about a smaller blue hatchback with a German shepherd in the passenger seat, who left a parking spot at a bar and started driving recklessly. They let the vehicle pass them and the driver suspiciously turned their lights off.
