POST FALLS — Hyatt Place Post Falls / Coeur d’Alene is now open, the hotel chain's first location in North Idaho.

"The new hotel offers the brand’s signature intuitive design, casual atmosphere, and practical amenities, including complimentary Wi-Fi, a 24/7 dining menu, and thoughtfully designed social spaces," a press release shared Jan. 2 read.

The property also boasts a total of 151 guest rooms, underground guest parking, an indoor pool and fitness center, and over 2,200 square feet of meeting space.

Dining options include The Market, which offers "freshly prepared meals," and The Bar, which offers specialty coffees, premium beers, wine and cocktails. The Placery, located at The Bar, also offers a variety of food options.

Around 30 associate jobs were created with the opening of the hotel.

The Hyatt Place is located at 1213 E. Fourth Ave. — within the Millworx mixed-use development — and is a meaningful addition to the fast-growing region, said Director of Sales Danitza Smith.

“Post Falls is a vibrant city, filled with friendly people, great neighborhoods and an ever-expanding list of great places to visit and things to do or see,” Smith said. “Our hotel is central to all of them, and we are confident that the Hyatt Place Post Falls / Coeur d’Alene will exceed guest expectations and provide them with everything they need while visiting our area.”

The hotel is less than a mile from access to I-90 and is about a thirty-minute drive from the Spokane International Airport, the press release said, "making it simple for guests to get here and explore everything the region has to offer."

Hyatt Place has more than 365 locations globally. The Post Falls property is managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality, a leading hotel management company based in both Washington and Tennessee.

The photo is a reminder of the Chamber’s 114 years of history, Coppess said in her address to nearly 200 attendees at Tuesday morning’s Breakfast Connect event.
