MISSOULA — Flathead wrestling followed up a good performance over the weekend in Spokane with a 53-21 dual win over Missoula Sentinel Tuesday.
The Braves took victories in 10 of the 14 matches, including four victories via pin.
“The Braves got caught in a few matches that ended in a pin for Sentinel, but that’s how we learn,” Braves coach Jeff Thompson said. “We were in three of those matches that we lost and Kellen Downing had to injury default with a hurt knee while winning the match.”
Dawson Hamland (126 pounds), Liam LeDuc (165), Colten Conover (175) and Conor LeDuc nabbed falls for Flathead.
Hunter Arriaga (144) and Brett Chivers (157) picked up wins via technical fall.
The Bravettes took to the mat in Missoula also, but results were not made available before press time.
