A Lincoln County teen-ager with a juvenile conviction for sexual assault is facing a new felony charge for a similar offense.
Laramie Skywalker Hannahs, 19, is charged with seven counts of sexual intercourse without consent, one felony count of burglary and one count of witness tampering.
Hannahs, who Lincoln County court officials said is on juvenile probation for sexual intercourse without consent when he was 17 in 2024, is scheduled to appear for his arraignment on the charges at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
He is currently incarcerated in the Lincoln County Detention Center on $250,000 bail.
According to the supplemental narrative by Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office deputy Brandon Huff, he was contacted Dec. 4 by county Juvenile Probation officer Kindra Hageness about a disclosure at the high school. The officer said a teenage student told two school counselors that she had been in a sexual relationship with Hannahs.
Huff made arrangements for the girl to have a forensic interview Dec. 10 with Flathead County Child Advocacy Center’s Kip Tkachyk, a long-time investigator with the county sheriff’s office. Huff couldn’t make the interview, but a Flathead Co. detective sat in the interview for him and recorded the interview.
Huff received a link for the interview, watched it and interviewed several other individuals, including a friend and the girl’s mother, in an attempt to verify statements by the alleged victim.
When Huff spoke to the child’s mother, she said her daughter craves acceptance and is easily manipulated. The mother also said a RV belonging to Hannahs was destroyed in a fire and she allowed him to stay in a shop on their property.
She also said she believed she kept them separated and had rules about when they could be together and didn’t allow them to be together without supervision. She said she did not know he reportedly climbed through a window into their home.
The girl’s mother said she allowed Hannahs to do laundry inside the home and one occasion she found a pregnancy test. She said he claimed the test belonged to a friend. Following an alleged break-in at the shop and the death of his dog, the mother told Hannahs he needed to leave and he moved out shortly after the incidents.
The alleged victim said Hannahs was “cheating” on her with several other girls, one of whom she said was 13 years old. The girl said Hannahs had alcohol and and provided it to them when they visited the shop.
Huff reported he learned during an interview with the alleged victim’s mother that her daughter knew Hannahs from the time he was involved with another minor female who was a friend of hers at the time. The woman said her daughter also knew about his previous offenses.
The mother also said Hannahs contacted her daughter through Snapchat on the mother’s phone. He allegedly asked her when she turned 16 and she said the following year. She also said he presented himself as 17, 18 or 19 years old, depending on who he was talking to.
The alleged victim’s mother said Hannahs took the girl to a ranch to see animals and ride horses. Then his motorhome burned and he moved into a shop on their property. Not long after, he picked her up from school during the lunch break, drove to secluded place in the forest where they allegedly had sex. Afterward, he drove her back to school and gave her a phone so they could stay in contact.
He also told her he wanted to make a child with her. According to the alleged victim, they had intercourse seven times. She also recounted a traffic stop when he was driving and told her to say she was 16.
If Hannahs is able to post bail, he must be fitted with a GPS bracelet.
In the 2024 juvenile case, charges were filed July 25, 2024, when Hannahs was still 17 years old. After his arrest, he was held in Missoula County Youth Detention before being taken to a similar facility in Bonners County, Idaho in August 2024.
The case was transferred Sept. 11, 2024, to youth court.
A Libby woman sought and received a temporary order of protection against Hannahs in May 2024. It doesn’t expire until June 14, 2029. The order for protection was for the entire family, including a daughter who was 13 years old at the time. The filing to obtain the order indicated the girl was assaulted in March 2024 in a field near the high school.
Hannahs also sought a number of orders for protection in November 2025 against a multiple people who accused of him being a rapist and a pedophile. District Judge Matt Cuffe denied the requests.
A conviction for sexual intercourse without consent could result in a 20-year term or life in the Montana State Prison. A conviction on the burglary charge could result in a 20-year sentence and the maximum penalty for witness tampering is 10 years.
