Marcella "Dolly" May Lingle, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 24, 2025. She was born April 25, 1933, in Everett, Washington, to Michael and Annie Walter.
Dolly was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Leonard. She is survived by her brother, Michael Walter and his wife, LaVerne; her children, Robert Lingle Jr. (wife, Terry), Michael Lingle, Rhonda Appleton (husband, Clay), Mark Lingle (wife, Rachel); her stepson, William Neice (wife, Trish); and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Dolly lived a full and vibrant life. She loved staying busy in her wood shop, playing the accordion, golfing, reading, gardening, sewing, and being actively involved in her church. Her creativity, energy, and devotion to family and faith touched everyone who knew her. She is now reunited with Jesus, whom she loved and served faithfully throughout her life.
A memorial service will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, with a reception to follow.
Dolly will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit.
