Timothy George Wild, 66, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away peacefully on Dec. 10, 2025, at the Schneidmiller Hospice House in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, surrounded by love.

Tim was born in Kellogg, Idaho, the oldest son of George and Delila (Kitchen) Wild of Kingston, Idaho. He grew up in the Silver Valley, where he attended local schools and graduated from Kellogg High School. Those early years shaped his strong work ethic and love of the outdoors.

Like his father before him, Tim spent his life working as a miner, a career he took pride in and one that reflected his determination and strength. When he wasn’t working, Tim could be found doing what he loved most—fishing, golfing, and spending time with the people he cared about. He was an excellent golfer and found great joy being out on the course, especially when he could share that time with others.

Tim was a devoted husband to his wife, Rhonda, and a loving father to his son, Chad Wild. Above all, he adored being “Grandpa Tim.” His grandsons, Dominik Wild and Calvin Wild, were the light of his life. He was their biggest fan, proudly cheering them on from the sidelines at basketball and football games and creating special memories by taking them golfing. His love for them was constant, obvious, and unconditional.

Tim’s kindness, quiet strength, and sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to family.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Wild of Post Falls, Idaho; his siblings, Arlene Wild (Tribbett) of Tacoma, Washington, Terri Wild (Seymour) of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, Tina Wild (St. Clair) of Osburn, Idaho, and Steve Wild of Post Falls, Idaho; as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Schneidmiller Hospice House for the exceptional care, comfort, and support they provided to Tim and his family during this difficult time.

Tim will be greatly missed and forever remembered, especially by those who were lucky enough to call him husband, father, brother, and Grandpa.
