Marcella May ‘Dolly’ Lingle, 92

Marcella May “Dolly” Lingle, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Dec. 24, 2025. She was born April 25, 1933, in Everett, Washington, to Michael and Annie Walter.

Dolly was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Leonard. She is survived by her brother Michael Walter and his wife LaVerne; her children Robert Lingle Jr. (wife Terry), Michael Lingle, Rhonda Appleton (husband Clay), Mark Lingle (wife Rachel); her stepson William Neice (wife Trish); and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Dolly lived a full and vibrant life. She loved staying busy in her wood shop, playing the accordion, golfing, reading, gardening, sewing, and being actively involved in her church. Her creativity, energy, and devotion to family and faith touched everyone who knew her. She is now reunited with Jesus, whom she loved and served faithfully throughout her life.

A memorial service will be held at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church on Saturday, Jan. 17, at 11 a.m., with a reception to follow.

Dolly will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, generosity, and joyful spirit.
