Facing Reardan on Jan. 1, a team that was 8-1 to start the season, the Bonners Ferry girls basketball team delivered.

Reardan had a two-point lead at the end of a high scoring, back and forth first quarter. However, Bonners Ferry went on a crucial 8-0 run to start the second quarter to lead 23-17 as the half-finished 29-27 in favor of the Badgers.
With two minutes left in the third quarter, the Screaming Eagles held a narrow lead, before three-pointers from Jaycee and Taren Bateman gave the Badgers a one-point lead with eight minutes left. It ended up being all the points they needed, as defense and grit stopped Reardan in their tracks.

Junior Eva Willis continues to pick up offensive rebounds, grabbing six while in total having 13 boards, most on the team, in just 15 minutes.
