PREP ROUNDUP: St. Maries pins down Timberlake

• WRESTLING

SPIRIT LAKE — Beau Wentzel (126 pounds), Kelby Harvey (144), Dylan Hansen (150), Zach David (157), Aiden Yearout (175) and Kristoffer Brusseau (215) had pins for St. Maries in a 51-30 dual win over Timberlake on Wednesday at Timberlake High. 

Logan Handlen (138) and Archer Higgins (285) had pins for Timberlake. 

Both schools will compete in the River City Duals on Friday and Saturday at Post Falls High.

PLUMMER — Senior Kyleigh Wolfe scored 22 points for the 2A Knights, who fell behind 19-9 to the 4A Badgers after the first quarter of a loss at Ron Miller Court. 

Junior Taren Bateman scored 26 points for Bonners Ferry (7-5), which fell to the Knights 50-41 on Nov. 20 in Bonners Ferry. 

Senior Fawn Abrahamson scored 11 points for Lakeside (7-9), which travels to Lake Roosevelt, Wash., on Jan. 17. 

Bonners Ferry is scheduled to play at Stillwater Christian of Kalispell, Mont., on Saturday.

Cadance Carlson scored 22 points for Potlatch (6-6).

CLARK FORK — Sophomore Lennox Radford scored a game-high 24 points, 19 in the first quarter, for the Miners in a Scenic Idaho Conference win over the Wampus Cats at Clark Fork High late Wednesday. 

Sophomore Cooper Miller scored 14 points for Wallace (3-4, 2-1 SIC), which is scheduled to face Coeur du Christ on Friday at Holy Family Catholic School in Coeur d’Alene. 

Senior Owen Howard had 19 points and 15 rebounds for Clark Fork (2-2, 0-1).
