Full caption: Sandpoint High standout attacker and midfielder Tess Sloan recently committed to continue her lacrosse career at Thomas More University (NCAA Division II) in Crestview Hills, Ky. A four-year member of Sandpoint High's lacrosse team and a member of the Lilac City Lacrosse Club (Spokane) and Treasure State Lacrosse (Montana) in the offseason, Sloan was an WSLA East Division honoree and became a main scoring option for the Lady Bulldogs over the last three years, compiling 26 goals and 40 groundballs across 27.5 games played. Sloan is the first girl in program history to sign with an official NCAA program and will be the first amongst the entire club to play at the Division II ranks. "Your work ethic, commitment, and love for the game have earned you this opportunity. We’re proud of you and excited to watch what’s next," Sandpoint Lacrosse said of Sloan in a recent announcement."
