Wayland powers Hellgate boys over Glacier

MISSOULA — Spencer Wayland scored 15 of his 17 points in the first half and Missoula Hellgate used a strong first half to down Glacier 58-46 in Western AA boys basketball Thursday.


Zane Gillhouse added 13 points for the Knights (4-1 overall, 1-0 in Western AA games), who led 34-18 at the break. 


Cooper Pelc led the Wolfpack (3-3, 0-1) with 11 points, while Carter and Asher Knopik contributed 10 apiece. 


A strong first quarter saw Hellgate take 1n 18-7 advantage.
