CLARK FORK — Freshman Kiylah Anderson scored in every quarter on her way to a game-high 13 points, senior Piper Scarlett and freshman Vanessa Rogier both scored nine points and hit one 3-pointer apiece, and the Lady Cats picked up their second win of the season with a defeat of the Wildcats' junior varsity squad on Wednesday night at Clark Fork High.
Sophomore Gracie Stevens also drained a 3-pointer and tallied eight points, senior Priscilla Mayorga had six points, and sophomore Azelynn Petersen chipped in four points for Clark Fork, which led 27-5 at halftime and outscored Kellogg 14-0 in the final quarter.
"It was a great game all the way around — no one stood out on either side of the ball, but we played a great game as a whole," Clark Fork High head coach Chris Cavanaugh said. "We have some work to do cleaning up the half-court offense, but that will come as we get in some more game time."
Clark Fork (2-8) will host Mullan for a non-league matchup Tuesday. Yesterday's scheduled matchup with the Kootenai Classical Academy was canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date.
