Whitefish girls hold off Browning

WHITEFISH — Reese Hudson scored 16 points and Whitefish used 12 fourth-quarter free throws to subdue Browning 47-42 Friday in Northwest A girls basketball.

Avery Orme and Allie Shors added 10 points each for the Bulldogs, now 5-2 overall and 2-0 in the Northwest A. Shors, who also grabbed 13 rebounds, hit 6 of 8 free throws in the final quarter. Whitefish went 12 of 18 in the quarter and was 18 of 34 at the line for the game. 

Kendee Olinger-Calf Boss Ribs had 11 to lead Browning (2-5, 0-1 in league), which missed 15 of 20 free throws.
