Big Sky holds off late Glacier charge

Jack McGowan scored 18 points and Missoula Big Sky held strong down the stretch to defeat Glacier 63-59 in Western AA boys basketball Tuesday at the Wolf Den. 


Eli Kasberg added 13 points for the Eagles (3-4 overall, 1-2 in Western AA games), who made just one field goal in the final quarter. The Eagles lived at the line over the final eight minutes, going 14-for-18 from the line. 


Cormack Batt had 14 points, including 10 of 12 from the line in the final frame. 


Cooper Pelc and Carter Knopik led the Wolfpack (3-5, 0-3) with 13 points apiece, while Asher Knopik added 10. 


Glacier trailed 22-10 after one quarter before battling back to tie the game at 57 with a minute to go.
