NO. 31762 Public Notice for Capital Assistance This is to notify all interested parties that Flathead County Public Transportation is applying for up to $658,891 through the Capital Assistance Grant. The Capital Assistance Grant is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and administered by the Montana Department of Transportation. FTA funds will be used to purchase up to four 9 passenger transit extended vans and facilitate the rehabilitation and repavement of the existing public transportation parking lot located at 1333 Willow Glen Dr, Kalispell, MT 59901. The work will include milling, prep, resurfacing, and restriping to improve safety and the pavement condition index (PCI). The purpose of these Capital Projects is to continue providing transportation services to the general public, elderly and persons with disabilities within Flathead County; and to ensure the transportation facility remains in a state of good repair, improve the quality and safety of public transportation infrastructure, and extend the useful life of the parking lot for public use.
