SCC announces honor roll honors

SPOKANE — Spokane Community College lists 2,600 students on its honor roll for the 2025 fall quarter, which ended in December. The honor roll lists those students who achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or above.

Earning a spot on the honor roll from Bonner and Boundary counties are: Aleigha Baker of Careywood, Robert Bauer of Oldtown, Kris Cusenza of Blanchard, Isabella Edgington of Oldtown, Amber Johnston of Oldtown, Dylen Olsen of Blanchard, Bryce Rosequist of Moyie Springs, Kylee Swoboda of Oldtown and Sara Zwink of Priest River.

SCC is one of two community colleges within the Spokane Colleges district. It is known for its programs in career and technical training as well as its apprenticeship programs, but it also offers associates degrees including those that are transfer-ready for those going into universities. SCC serves more than 15,000 students annually with a main campus in east Spokane, five other locations in rural areas of northeastern Washington and a program in the Airway Heights Correctional Center.

Spokane Colleges is a dynamic, 12,300-square-mile state community college district that includes Spokane Community College, Spokane Falls Community College and six rural education sites, serving residents in Pend Oreille, Stevens, Whitman, Ferry and parts of Lincoln counties.

SFCC releases honor roll awards

SPOKANE — Spokane Falls Community College lists 1,641 students on its honor roll for fall quarter 2025, which ended in December. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above to be listed on the honor roll.

Earning the academic achievement are Janae Weaver of Oldtown, Claire Loutzenhiser of Sandpoint and Sable Herrbach of Priest River.

SFCC is one of two community colleges within the Spokane Colleges district and serves over 5,000 students. It is renowned for its theater, music and fine arts as well as exceptional STEM programs. About 60 percent of its graduates transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Other students pursue career or technical degrees or certificates. SFCC has campuses in west Spokane, Fairchild Air Force Base and Pullman.

SNHU announces fall dean's list

MANCHESTER — Southern New Hampshire University officials are congratulating its students who earned a spot on the university's fall 2025 dean's list. The fall terms run from September to December.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean's List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired eight-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer.

Earning the academic honor from Bonner and Boundary counties are Nathan Conway of Priest River and Madeline Jones of Bonners Ferry.
