Vivian (Babe) Lorraine Walson Olson passed away Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026, with her husband, Wesley Olson, and daughter, Debra, by her side. She was born Nov. 28, 1933, in Lusk, Wyo. Her father, Chester Walson, moved the family to Dover, Idaho, in 1934.

Vivian married Wesly Olson in 1957, and they raised five children: Jim (Sherry) Olson, Hayden Lake, Idaho; Jill (Bill) Wiley, Sun River, Ore.; and Debra (Tim) Troy, Ogden, Utah. Vivian was preceded in death by two of her children, Terry (Bruce) Bell Timblin and Ronald Olson. Wes and Vivian have 11 grandchildren.

Vivian loved tending her garden and canning while also raising cows, horses, pigs, chickens and even a peacock. She loved sewing and creating stained glass artwork. She was always a busy bee. One of her greatest joys was fishing on Lake Pend Oreille. The family will hold a private service in August, when they will spread her ashes on Lake Pend Oreille. She is now at peace and we are thankful for her 92 years.

Family and friends are invited to sign Vivian’s online guest book at www.coffeltfuneral.com. Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
