Whitefish girls improve to 4-2 with wins over Browning, Libby

The Whitefish Bulldogs put together a strong week on the court, earning home wins over Browning and Libby to improve to 4-2 overall on the season.
Whitefish opened the stretch Thursday with a hard-fought 47-42 victory over Browning Indians, leaning on late free throws to pull away in a tight Northwest A contest.
Reese Hudson led the Bulldogs with 16 points, while Avery Orme and Allie Shors added 10 points apiece. Whitefish sealed the win at the line, knocking down 12 free throws in the fourth quarter and finishing 18 of 34 from the stripe for the game.
The teams were tied at 27 heading into the fourth quarter before Whitefish outscored Browning 20-14 in the final eight minutes. Browning was led by Kendee Olinger-Calf Boss Ribs with 11 points.
The Bulldogs followed with a decisive 59-19 win over Libby on Friday, using a fast start and a dominant third quarter to put the game away early.
Whitefish jumped out to a 19-2 lead after one quarter and never looked back. Allie Shors scored 12 of her game-high 21 points in the third quarter, while Orme finished with 18 points, including 14 in the first half, as the Bulldogs steadily built their lead.
