Boundary County Commissioners Seek Applicant to Serve on the Fair Board

Boundary County is seeking letters of interest from qualified individuals interested in volunteering as a Boundary County Fair Board member.  

This Board is advisory to the Boundary County Board of Commissioners and terms consist of four years. The term of the position to be filled expires January 2029. A candidate must be able to attend monthly Fair Board meetings, which typically take place on the second Monday of the month.  

The purpose of the Fair Board is to conduct an annual fair showcasing the products and talents of all Boundary County residents, to dedicate a week of time to be in attendance during the Boundary County Fair, to continually maintain and improve all buildings and associated properties under the jurisdiction and oversight of the Fair Board and to act as a member of the board following Idaho Statute 22-204. 

If you are interested in a position, please submit a letter explaining why you are interested in becoming a Fair Board member and include what qualifications you feel you can provide to the board. Letters of interest should be sent to the Boundary County Commissioners’ Office at P.O. Box 419, Bonners Ferry, Idaho 83805 or emailed to: [email protected]. Letters of interest will be accepted until January 31st.
