Festival at Sandpoint seeking board members

The Festival at Sandpoint is inviting passionate and engaged community members to apply to join its board of directors. 

The board plays a vital role in providing strategic guidance, supporting fundraising initiatives, and serving as ambassadors for the organization in our community. 

“We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about our mission and eager to make a meaningful difference,” Tess Howell, director of finance and development, said. “Our Board members bring diverse perspectives, skills, and experiences that help shape the future of our organization.” 

Board members are expected to attend regular board meetings, serve on committees, and actively support fundraising and outreach efforts. 

“We are at an exciting and pivotal moment for the Festival at Sandpoint,” Board President Ben Higgs said. “What I enjoy most about serving on this board is working alongside passionate community members who genuinely care about the Festival and its impact. It is incredibly rewarding to help shape the future of an organization that brings people together through music and the arts. We are looking for individuals who love this community, believe in the power of live performance, and want to actively contribute their time, perspective, and leadership.”

The Festival at Sandpoint is a non-profit organization that hosts an annual summer performance series in Sandpoint. As a nonprofit, the Festival at Sandpoint strives to be a community catalyst for arts, culture, and education. The 2026 Summer Concert Series will take place July 30 through Aug. 9 at War Memorial Field.
