Olga Terese Moore, 94

It is with great sorrow to announce that Olga Terese Moore (Bogdan), known as Terri Moore, passed away from this life Nov. 4, 2025. She was 94 years old. Terri was born March 6, 1931, the youngest daughter of hardworking immigrants. Raised in New York City, on the west side of Manhattan in a well-established neighborhood called “Hell’s Kitchen.” After graduating from Holy Cross Academy, she attended Creedmoor Hospital’s Nursing Program. At 19 years of age, she began working as a student nurse at Creedmoor State Hospital. In 1951, She obtained her R.N. Diploma. Throughout her nursing career Terri served others in various roles; she worked as a night nurse on patient wards, maternity wards, in the delivery room, the emergency room, and as an assistant in the operating room, in anesthesia and recovery.
Terri met the love of her life on a blind date at Valentine’s Day dance in 1962, and later married Thomas Wood Moore, on June 16, 1962. Together they raised a loving family of four daughters. She was an adventurous, strong, and independent woman. She believed in the values of education, hard work, and faith. Terri introduced Thomas to the Catholic faith and together the family attended mass every Sunday. She encouraged each of her daughters to obtain post-secondary education, embrace the adventure of life, and be successful in their chosen professions.
Tom and Terri settled in Sandpoint, Idaho to live out their retirement years. Terri enjoyed gardening, water aerobics, skiing, snowmobiling, thrifting, watercolor painting as well as traveling around the western United States, Canada, and Europe. She especially enjoyed family vacations and holidays.
She is survived by her four daughters, Christine (Doug Linwood), Kathryn (Lee Schahrer), Carolyn (Joeseph Vincent) and Mary (Ken Davis.) She is also survived by her five grandchildren: Emily Schahrer, Jarod Schahrer, Nathan Vincent, Brian Vincent, and Lila Davis.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to the Bonner Community Food Bank in Sandpoint.
