Winter Leagues begin for Bonners Ferry Gun Clubs

It was the opening week for the 2026 winter season for Bonners Ferry sharpshooters. Participants each had 25 shots to hit as many targets as possible.    

At the Spokesman-Review Trapshoot, the Bonners Ferry Gun Club finished in eighth place on 92 points in the men’s division with near-equal contributions from Ron Campbell, Don Donoho, Dustin Myers and Mike Pruitt.  

In the women’s division, they finished with 59 points from Amanda Myers, who top-scored, Kristie Campbell and Randi Hibbard. 

The Duke’s Claybusters, who are the Bonners Ferry Youth trapshooting team, finished in sixth place out of 16 teams on 85 points.  

Trenton Myers and Judah Roffler each had 23 points, while Gage Kunsky had 21 and Eric Aos hit 18 targets. 

The Camas Prarie Trap Shoot also occurred on Jan. 11. Bonners Ferry finished in fifth place out of 26 teams on 66 points. Four teams were tied on 65.  

It was an even performance from all members as Gage Kunsky, Trenton Myers and Robert Olson each finished on 22 points.  

In the Bonners Ferry Gun Club HDCP, which was 50 birds, Ron Campbell won Class A with a 46 and Mike Pruitt took Class B. Amanda Myers hit 39, Kristie Campbell 38, Dustin Myers and Mike Pruitt each hit 37 birds, Dean Nelson hit 34 and Donald Donoho and Dennis Smith 31 apiece.
