Charles Lee Wulf

Charles Lee Wulf, better known as Chuck, passed away peacefully on the morning of Jan. 8, 2026, at the age of 82. 

He was born on Feb. 13, 1943, in St. Paul, Minnesota, to Grace and Lee Wulf. From an early age, Chuck developed a strong work ethic and a deep love for the outdoors.

At just 15 years old, Chuck had his first experience with cowboy life while working on a cattle ranch in Drummond, Montana. That experience sparked a lifelong dream of owning his own ranch, a goal he proudly achieved in 1973.

Chuck was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving his country in Germany. While ranching was always his dream, his life included many jobs that took him up and down the West Coast, each contributing to his rich life story. After retirement, Chuck returned to Libby, Montana, where he enjoyed everything the area had to offer, including fishing, hunting and working outdoors.

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Darcy Dudley (Jared); his daughter-in-law, Cathy Wulf, wife of his late son Rodney Wulf; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his brother, Lyle Wulf; his sister, Delores Smith (Steve); his girlfriend, Carol Anderson; and many friends throughout the Libby area. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Rodney.

The family is planning a memorial service for early April.
