Lady Loggers froshmore hoops team opens 3-2

The Libby Lady Loggers froshmore basketball team started the 2025-26 season off with a 3-2 record.
The team consists of several core players, including six eighth-graders Ava Myers, Reagan Vincent, Quinly Leckrone, Sadie Stephens, Abby KIrk and Olivia Keller, and three freshman, Ava Jensen, Sarah Kosters and Settra McGreevey-White and one sophomore, Allie Clemons.
Kosters, McGreevey-White and Clemons also are playing quality varsity minutes.
The froshmore team defeated Frenchtown 47-10 in their first game of the season. Sarah Kosters was the leading scorer with 17 points followed by Allie Clemons and Reagan Vincent who each scored 8 points.
They next defeated Stevensville 55-22 as Settra McGreevey-White led all scoring with 17 points followed by Sarah Kosters with 10 points, Abby Kirk with nine points and Allie Clemons with eight points.
Libby then had its first loss of the season against Troy JV falling short, 47-40. Sarah Kosters again led all scoring with 15 points, followed by Quinly Leckrone with eight points and Sadie Stephens with six points.
The Lady Loggers bounced back with a win against the Whitefish freshman squad, 31-25. Reagan Vincent lead the scoring with eight points, while Allie Clemons scored seven points and Settra McGreevey-White and Sarah Kosters each adding six points apiece.
The fifth game of the season saw the Lady Loggers losing a tight game to Bigfork, 37-24. Leading scorers for the Loggers were Sarah Kosters with 10 points, Settera McGreevfey-White with six and Reagan Vincent with four.
The Lady froshmore teams next games are against Columbia Falls and Polson.
