Polson girls power past Libby

LIBBY — Rylee Taylor-Jefferson scored a game-high 22 points and Hinkley Moss added 14 more as Polson defeated Libby 51-15 in Northwest A girls basketball Saturday. 


Taylor-Jefferson and Moss hit two triples each as the Pirates (5-3 overall, 1-1 in the Northwest A) raced out to a 17-6 lead after one quarter. 


Rylee Delmas led the Loggers (2-7, 0-4 in league) with six points, Jayva Boehmler added four.

EUREKA — Avery Orme scored 23 points and Reese Hudson added 14 as the Whitefish girls raced past Eureka in non-conference play Friday evening. 


Orme scored nine points in the third frame as the Northwest A Bulldogs (7-2) jumped ahead 46-29 after 24 minutes. 


Haidyn Guckenburg led the Western 7-B Lions (3-4) with 14 points, while Brynn Miller scored 12 points — all during the middle two quarters.
