Alma, born Oct. 24, 1964, in Mexico City, lived a life of faith, courage and adventure. After a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ at age 19, she devoted her life to serving others, sharing the gospel and encouraging faith.
Alma was a beloved wife to Enoch Van Ostrand and a devoted mother to Corinne and Ian. For more than two decades, she taught at Christian Center School, impacting generations of students through her passion for learning, missions and discipleship.
She is remembered for her joyful spirit, deep love for people and unwavering trust in God. Her race was well run, her faith was kept and her great adventure continues in the presence of her Savior.
Alma is survived by her parents, Francisco Javier Valle and María Guadalupe Núñez de Valle; her husband, Enoch; her children, Corinne and Ian; her siblings, Cecilia, Javier, Joel and Victor Valle Núñez; and many family members, students, colleagues and friends whose lives were deeply impacted by her faith and love. A service was held Dec. 22 at Christian Center School.
