Lady Devils fall to Eagles, Bobcats

The young Noxon Lady Red Devils lost a pair of District 14C conference games last week, falling 50-18 to Two Eagle River in Pablo Thursday and 61-15 to Superior in Noxon Friday.

Up this week for Noxon girls basketball, coach Cory Brodmerkle and her Lady Devils go to Thompson Falls Tuesday to face the Lady Hawks and travel to St. Regis Saturday to take on the Lady Tigers.

At Pablo, Abigail Yoder led the Lady Devils eight points, 11 rebounds and two steals, Kaylie Mercer also scored eight points and added three steals, Nevaeh Christensen scored a point and dished out three assists, Emily Yoder scored a point and grabbed two steals, Sydnie Eichert grabbed seven rebounds and Sandy Bonney two steals.

Scoring for Two Eagle River was not available.

Against Superior, Abigail Yoder led Noxon with six points and four rebounds, Mercer scored four points, grabbed three rebounds and two steals, Christensen hit a 3-pointer for her points, Eichert added two points and Bonney three assists.

Sheldon Frank and Dallas Weaver of the Noxon-Thompson Falls Red Devils have been named as alternates on the West team for the 2026 Montana All-Star High School baseball game to be played at Legends Stadium in Butte August 15.

From Coeur d‘Alene to Deer Park, the North softball team, including players from Thompson Falls, Noxon, Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry, travels well, and have continued tearing up the basepaths at tournaments since the high school season ended.
