Lady Panthers host Two Eagle Saturday

The Alberton Lady Panthers, fresh off freshman Marley Fredette being named the MHSA Female Athlete of the Week dropped a pair of basketball games last week, falling 62-16 to Hot Springs in Alberton Tuesday and 61-17 to Charlo in Charlo Saturday.

The Panthers have only one game scheduled this week, hosting Two Eagle River Saturday.

Coach Cera Bestwick’s Panthers were led by Arya Ray’s eight points scored in the game with Hot Springs, Willa Fredette added four and Peyton Lidauer and Breanna Turner two apiece.

At Charlo, Ray and Marley Fredette scored five points each to lead Alberton.

Madison Harrison paced Charlo with 19 points, Maizey McDonald scored 16 for the Lady Vikings and GG Hawk 10.
