Proving he belongs among the best prep wrestlers in western Montana, Superior junior Turner Milender won a sixth place medal at 175 pounds in the prestigious Jug Beck Rocky Mountain Classic wrestling tournament in Missoula Saturday.

Saying he was forced to leave a few grapplers home in Superior with illness and/or injury, coach Charlie Crabb said Dillon Arbogast (126 pounds), Wade Calloway (144) and Sam Doughty (150) did compete in the Classic. Arbogast did not reach the medal round but won two matches before being eliminated in Missoula.

Hoping he has everybody on his roster back in working order this week, Crabb said that the Bobcats will spend most of the weekend in Thompson Falls, wrestling in a mixer there Friday and then participating in the Ted Kato Memorial at TFHS Saturday.
