Firesafe Flathead
Lunch & Learn event at FVCC on Jan. 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with Erica Fischer, associate professor of civil and construction engineering at Oregon State University. Fischer has been performing fire research on civil infrastructure for over 15 years.
Lecture Series
Lecture Series on Glacier National Park is at Bigfork Library on Jan. 23 at 4 p.m. The Glacier Institute will share updates on current research projects in the park.
BLUAC meets
The Bigfork Land Use Advisory Committee meets Jan. 29 from 4-6 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Bigfork.
BLUAC openings
Two positions on the Bigfork Land Use Advisory Committee will be open for election in 2026. Filing with the Election Department opens on Jan. 20 and closes on Feb. 4. Information is posted on the Flathead County Planning and Zoning website.
Undecorate Day
Join the Bigfork Elves for Undecorating Day in Bigfork on Jan. 31. Meet at the Bigfork Inn at 8 a.m. for coffee before taking down the garland and lights that have adorned the village.

The Flathead County Planning Board meets Feb. 11 at 6 p.m., 40 11th Street West Suite 200, Kalispell.
School Board
The Bigfork School Board meets Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 5 p.m. at the high school library.
West Shore craft night
West Shore Community Library hosts a craft night the second Tuesday of the month from 6-8 p.m. Free and open to all adults.
West Shore Community Dinner
The free community dinner is on the second Friday of each month from 5-6:30 p.m. Meet at The Gathering Place in Lakeside.
Bigfork Senior Center
Hot lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Recommended donation for meals is $4 for seniors age 60 and over, $6 for non-seniors.
Community meal
A free community meal is at Bethany Lutheran Church every Wednesday. Doors open at 5:45 p.m. The church is at 8559 Montana 35.
Lakeside Senior Lunch
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m.-noon, at the Lakeside Chapel Gathering Place. To reserve a plate call Janice at 406-250-0148. $4 for 60 and older, $6 for anyone under 60.
