The Columbia Falls boys basketball team got back on the winning track, dropping Libby, 64-27 at home Thursday and Polson 64-51 on the road Tuesday.
Jett Pitts had the hot hand with 20, while Easton Brooks and Bjorn Pedersen both had 10. Jory Hill had 8 points, six rebounds and nine assists.
The Cats played well defensively, with 14 steals and 20 defensive rebounds in the Libby win.
Coach Chris Finberg said Pitts was able to get some tips and deflections defensively which helped on the other end.
All told, Finberg said they didn’t play too well the first half, but turned it on the second, with a 16-1 run in the third.
“We were able to turn them over and get some steals,” he said.
On Tuesday, Pitts hit two 3-pointers, one during Columbia Falls’ big fourth quarter, and scored 16 points in the win. Easton Brooks had 13.
The Cats travel to Browning Friday.
