Police Calls: Jacuzzi party after hours

The police calls section does not reflect the nature or the volume of the calls received by local law enforcement. 

Jan. 8 

The semi-truck across the road on Armory was moved. 

Debris from a trailer on the road on Karrow Avenue was cleaned up. 

The driver of a gray Tesla was given a warning for speeding. He was driving 47 mph in a 35-mph zone. 

A driver who was stuck in a parking spot due to the poor parking of another individual called the police for advice. 

Jan. 9 

Two cars were reported for parking in front of a hydrant on Skyles Place. 

Multiple drivers and high school students were counseled on their driving. 

Two boys were throwing snowballs and ice at cars on the corner of Baker Avenue and East Fifth Street.  

Someone accidentally dialed 911 on his watch. 

The driver on Highway 93 West, who crossed the center line multiple times and came to a stop at an odd spot, was given a warning for being careless. 

Another driver on Highway 93 South earned a careless driver warning by crossing the center line multiple times and driving under the posted speed limit. He, too, came to a stop at an odd spot. 

Jan. 10 

A toddler got hold of a phone causing an accidental call to 911. 

Two black and white dogs were at large on Shiloh Avenue. The unleashed dogs were aggressive toward the caller’s leashed dogs. 

A reckless, white male driver was seen weaving around on Highway 93 and impeding traffic. 

Twenty men and women were in a Jacuzzi along with some loud music on Jasper Loop at 2 a.m. The Jacuzzi is supposed to be closed at 9 p.m. The music was eventually turned off and the renting revelers said they would call it a night.
