Bonners Ferry sharpshooters: week two of competitions

This weekend, 23 participants braved the 32-degree weather to join in the annual Winter Leagues. There were two perfect scores this week as Ron Campbell and Dustin Myers both shot a 25/25. They will count toward next week's scoreboard.
In the Spokesman-Review Trapshoot, Bonners Ferry dropped to 11th place in our Division for Week 2 as scores that hadn't been submitted by other regional clubs were added to the scoresheet for Week 1.
The top scorers for week two were Ron Campbell with 23 and Donald Donoho, Dean Nelson and Joe Campbell with 21.
In the women’s section, Bonners Ferry moved up to 6th place in the Spokesman last week after finishing in third in Week 2. The top scorers were Amanda Myers with 22, Melanie Campbell with 21, Kristie Campbell with 20 and Kelsey Noble with 20.
The Duke's Claybusters, Bonners Ferry’s youth team, also moved up in the Spokesman last week and currently sit in 5th position in the region. The top scorers for the second week were Gage Kunsky, Trenton Myers and Robert Olson with 22, Judah Roffler with 19 and Jar Kunsky at 19.
Scores submitted for Week 3 in the Spokesman-Review Trapshoot were:
BONNERS FERRY GUN CLUB—Division III (272-300): Ron Campbell 25, Dustin Myers 25, Mike Pruitt 22, Jerry Schilling 22.
BONNERS FERRY GUN CLUB—Women (227-300) Kristie Campbell 23, Melanie Campbell 23, Randi Hibbard 20, Amanda Myers 19.
BONNERS FERRY GUN CLUB—Youth (261-300): Aaron Michaelsen 23, Judah Roffler 23, Trenton Myers 23, Gage Kunsky 22.
In the Camas Prairie Leagues, Bonners Ferry came in second to last in the region with the scores submitted at the end of Week 1. For Week 2, the top 3 scores submitted were Ron Campbell and Dustin Myers with a 25 and Kristie and Melanie Campbell with a 23, for a total of 73/75. This moved Bonners Ferry up two places.
Duke's Claybusters finished Week 2 tied for third place among 23 High School teams in the Region. The weekly score was 69/75. Individual scores out of 25 were: Aaron Michaelsen, Judah Roffler and Trenton Myers with 23, Gage Kunsky and Mason Bryant with 22, Randi Hibbard, Jar Kunsky, and Erik Aos with 20, Joe Campbell with 19, Robert Olson and Zander Moseley with 16, and Gus Christiansen and Milo Slevin with 15.
At the BFGC handicap shoot (50 birds), Ron Campbell won Class A with a score of 46 out of 50, while Mike Pruitt took Class B.
