PREP ROUNDUP: Lakeside runs past Kellogg

• GIRLS BASKETBALL

KELLOGG — Senior Kyleigh Wolfe scored 23 of her game-high 36 points for the 2A Lakeside Knights in a 75-38 win over the 3A Kellogg Wildcats at Andrews Gymnasium on Wednesday. 

Sophomore Laila SiJohn scored 24 points for Lakeside, which made 10 3-pointers and led 43-16 at halftime.

Senior Dani Henrikson scored 14 points for Kellogg (10-5), which hosts Grangeville on Saturday. 

Lakeside travels to Wallace tonight.

HARRISON FLATS — Sophomore Brooklyn Charles had 12 points, 15 rebounds and five steals for the Warriors, who outscored the Wampus Cats 9-4 in overtime for a nonleague win. 

Clark Fork rallied from down five points to tie the game at 32-32 and force overtime. 

Freshman Hunter Charles hit a 3-pointer in overtime for Kootenai (4-4), which travels to Mullan for a North Star League game tonight. 

Freshman Vanessa Rogier scored 13 points for Clark Fork (1-8).

Both teams won five matches via forfeit in the dual. 

St. Maries competes in the North/South duals tournament at Clearwater Valley High in Kooskia on Friday and Saturday.
