KFC Holdings, LLC (dba Kootenai Float Company – KFC), is soliciting proposals from qualified Contractors to provide the design, supply, and build of an addition to the existing structure located at 203 Mineral Avenue, Libby, MT 59923. Task List for Qualified Contractor Prepare a proposal for the construction of additional 1500 sf structure that considers the following criteria: a. Review, analyze, and design preliminary concept drawings and scope narrative b. Assist in conceptual design options addition c. Obtain and coordinate with all utilities, permitting and in-kind services. d. Demolition of 59 sf of building e. Renovation and construction coordination of finalized design f. Construction completion by mid-September 2026 Contractors may obtain the RFP Documents from Kootenai Float Company at 203 Mineral Avenue, Libby, MT 59923, and/or phone (406) 854-5765. The full RFP document, preliminary drawings, and narrative of the project scope are available are available in hardcopy and/or electronically. An optional site visit walkthrough is scheduled for February 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM. RFP responses must be submitted to KFC on or before February 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Sealed proposals will be received at Kootenai Float Company located at 203 Mineral Avenue, Libby, MT 59923 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR ANNEXATION OF THE TIMBERLANDS BUSINESS PARK MAJOR SUBDIVISION INTO THE CITY OF LIBBY The purpose is to consider annexation of property known as the Timberlands Business Park Major Subdivision. The Libby City Council passed a Resolution of Intent to annex the property into the City on December 15th, 2025. A public hearing is to be held during the City of Libby City Council on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Libby City Hall, 952 East Spruce Street, Libby, Montana, to accept public comment on the proposed annexation. No action will be taken by the Council at the meeting. Final annexation will be based on the applicant’s completion of the conditions outlined in the Resolution of Intent to annex.
