Paint bowls to combat hunger at Hands to Art

Community members are invited to contribute their talents to the fight against hunger by painting bowls at Hands to Art for Third Avenue Marketplace's Empty Bowls fundraiser.

Feeling creative this winter?
Third Avenue Marketplace has partnered with Hands to Art to prepare for the Empty Bowls 2026 fundraising event, and extra hands are needed.
Participants can pick up an “Empty Bowls To-Go Kit” from Hands to Art, paint a ceramic bowl at home and return it to be included in the Empty Bowls event this spring. The painted bowls will be sold to raise funds for the Weekend Backpack Program, which provides weekly food for over 250 local kids.
Here’s how it works:
• Pick up a bowl painting kit from Hands to Art
• Leave a $10 deposit
• Paint the bowl at a preferred pace and location
• Return it to Hands to Art when finished
It’s a simple, creative way to make a big difference.
