WIldkats sweep past Browning

COLUMBIA FALLS — Rylee Sweeney led a balanced Columbia Falls attack with 13 points and the Wildkats rode a dominant second quarter to a Northwest A girls basketball win over Browning Friday. 


Peyton Ross scored seven of her 11 points during the 19-4 surge in the second quarter by the Wildkats (6-4 overall, 4-1 in the Northwest A). She hit two of her three 3-pointers in the period, and Alanis Petersen added a three and another bucket as the Kats went up 33-16. Alexa Friske hit two early threes for Columbia Falls, while Ava Scholz knocked down 5 of 8 free throws. 


Josephine Michael scored a game-high 17 for Browning (3-7, 1-3 in league), 14 coming after halftime. Dally Michael added 10 points, including two 3-pointers.
