Flathead girls set tone early, defeat Ronan

RONAN — Brynn Kossman and Lexi Herion combined for 40 points in the Bravettes 72-37 victory against Ronan in a cross-conference matchup on Monday evening.  

Bravettes have now won two straight games, starting with their 65-30 crosstown victory over Glacier last week. 

Grace Gall scored 14 of her points in the first half. Caitlyn Converse contributed 13 points. 

Nefertiti Stewart led the Northwest A Maidens (1-10) with nine points, while Neveah Perez added eight. Dallas St. Goddard finished with seven points, including Ronan’s lone 3-pointer of the game. 

Flathead (2-8) of the Western AA built a commanding 25-5 lead after the first quarter and led 46-15 at the break. 

Flathead travels to keep their win-streak alive against Helena High in their next matchup on Friday, Jan. 26
