PURPOSE  This Public Hearing Notice is to gather public comment on the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare’s consideration of renewing an existing SNAP Employment & Training (E&T) subgrant with North Idaho College.   The SNAP Employment & Training program provides individuals who receive SNAP (food assistance) with the skills, training, and experience they need to improve their employment opportunities. The goal of the program is to help individuals on their path to self-sufficiency and reduce their reliance on state benefits.
