Full caption: Sandpoint's Caiden Gion recently committed to continue his soccer career at North Idaho College (NJCAA) in Coeur d'Alene. Gion, a defender, a 2025 All-Inland Empire League honoree, and a 2025 All-State Second Team selection, had a breakthrough year on the Bulldogs' back line, leading Sandpoint to a record of 14-5-2 and to a 70-22 goal differential. "I am thrilled that Caiden has decided to play at the next level," Sandpoint High head coach Dan Anderson said. "His senior season was a breakout year for him in terms of his consistently high level of play, his leadership qualities, and his dedication to holding himself and his teammates to exceptionally high standards. He is ready for the rigorous demands that collegiate sports place on athletes and I am incredibly proud of the work he has put in to prepare himself for this. It has been a pleasure to be a part of his journey and we cannot wait to see what the future has in store for him."
