Swimmers 2nd in Great Falls

The Wildcats rode the wave to second place Saturday at the Great Falls Stacy Frey Memorial Meet.
“The kids swam really well. We are gearing up for the most important part of our season,” said head coach Kyle Babcock.
The girls placed 8th overall, and 3rd in Class A. The boys took 6th overall, 2nd in A. The team took 6th overall and snagged 2nd in A.
Catherine Opalka continues to shine with standout performances including: 2nd overall and 1st in A in the 100 breast, and first overall and in A in the 100 fly.
Tristan Victor also stood out with a 2nd place finish in the 50 free and 3rd in the 100 free. Senior Teagan Bates took 2nd in class A in the boys 200 free.
The girls 200 medley relay took 5th overall, 2nd in A, and the boys 200 medley relay took 6th overall, 2nd in A.
The Whitefish/C-Falls dual is this Friday, January 30th. The event kicks off with senior recognitions at 5 p.m.
