SANDPOINT — A Bonner County resident guilty of an incident related to child injury has been sentenced to serve 10 years in prison for the crime.

Alexander Wayne Elmore, 25, was sentenced to serve 10 years in prison — two years fixed, eight years indeterminate — after pleading guilty to an amended charge of injury to child for an incident occurring in September 2024. As a result of a plea deal, charges of rape and lewd conduct with a minor were dismissed.

Elmore will get credit for 18 days served.

Documents on the matter are sealed due to sensitive information that would be highly objectionable to a reasonable person.
