Free tax preparation services available through April 15

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is offering free tax preparation services across Idaho during the 2025 tax season.

In North Idaho, services are available at multiple locations through April 15, including Dalton Gardens Church of Christ, Lake City Center in Coeur d’Alene, Rathdrum Community Center and Idaho Health and Welfare in Kellogg. Some sites require appointments, while others accept walk-ins. 

For the 2025 tax season, Tax-Aide volunteers in Idaho filed more than 15,000 federal tax returns and nearly 14,800 state returns, resulting in more than $13.1 million in federal refunds.
